This is the place to be when something so great happens in your life that you just can't contain it. Come on in and do some major bragging on life!

Thanks for starting this group, Archie! I've been thinking all day long today that it truly is a great day to be alive! It's certainly better than the alternative. Today, Justin and I met with some folks at SAS Institute in Cary to discuss bringing our Past Due: Money & Life Boot Camp to their employees! SAS does a tremendous job taking care of its workforce and they're preparing to partner with us to give their employees the kind of sound financial understanding that relieves burdens and inspires hope.

Every day is great for me Archie!

I'm excited that you're inviting others to join. You can even upload address books and send invites that way.

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us."
~Helen Keller

Sometimes we let our enemies steal our happiness. Why, because we are so human! We, even though we may have accepted Christ in our lives, like our enemies are 100% human, and 0% God. That is where we need to depend on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit that lives within the saved is what makes all the difference in the world!

There will be times in our life when God is dealing with us through our vocations/careers. And so many times we are to busy "doing things our way" and miss out on what God has for us. We all have a mission in life and until we submit our whole being to God, true happiness will not come.

The next time depression rears it's ugly head in our life, as a result of difficulties at work. Or even as a result of losing that employment position we thought we would have the rest of our lives, just know that if you are a child of God, he will provide and he DOES have a divine plan for our life.

Two good points to remember:
1. Love your enemies. Pray for wisdom on how to best deal with them within God's will. Pray for them, not only for their benefit, but for release in your own life. Don't let those who persecute you steal your happiness.
2.Don't dwell on the doors that have been closed in the past, but rather know that God is in charge of the future doors of opportunity! He is still in charge and will always be. We just need to hang close to him so we will know when that door is open for us.

Jeremiah 29:11 | For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Start a new life with total trust in our Lord, our redeemer, our provider, and our one true hope.

Blessings to all,

Archie

This is the beginning of a brand new week. Destination: SUCCESS!!!

Hey Gang, I ran across this thought on Norman Vincent Peale's website. It's pretty interesting and something we may not think about. It pertains to our present employment. Just something to think about:

"Every day spend an hour analyzing and studying your job or your hobby or any other subject in which you're particularly interested. Learn everything you can about the topic during these 60-minute study times. Read books pertaining to your work, interest and your industry. Look at the newspaper and pay special attention to columns that relate to what you do. If you keep this one hour a day schedule for five years, you will be an acknowledged expert on your business or on any other topic you choose." ~ N.V.P.

Today, lets be thankful for our present jobs, homes, food, clothing and shelter that our God has provided us with.
"To be ambitious is a good thing, but to be content is sometimes the answer to much happiness". ~Yours truly :)

Have a GREAT and blessed day my friends,

Archie

“Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate accomplishments.” -- Napoleon Hill

NOW I read this quote! I wish I would had known this when I was an early teenager. I would be a very wealthy man now, since I was the one who first thought of inline skates. But wait, I'm still alive and in my right mind, and I still dream almost every night! Awesome, there's still hope!
